      This is why I donā€™t watch new shows anymore. Iā€™m not about to invest time and mental space on something that could be cancelled just like that because some executive didnā€™t see a profit. Instead, Iā€™m going back and watching shows I missed during the golden age of TV that is now over. Currently watching The Americans. Itā€™s such a bummer for media fans like me, but streamers need to get this under control. They canā€™t just be releasing show after show without thinking about its future. Apple TV are the only ones doing it right, although they did cancel Schmigadoon! which then went onto win the Tony, so maybe it was a win-win. Iā€™m still bitter about HBO cancelling Our Flag Means Death, and itā€™s the last new show I will invest my time and energy in. Iā€™m now only watching shows that have already finished airing.Ā

      Never watched any of them and only heard of a few of them. Netflix has definitely gone quantity over quality so Iā€™m sure thereā€™s a lot of bloat to be cut.

      Iā€™ve only heard of Vince Staples and Lincoln Lawyer, because Netflix is very bad at promoting things.

      Terminator Zero is my favorite here because nobody even knew this fucking show existed and it’s awesome.

      I’m sure it’ll be off the app entirely soon but high recommend if you have a chance.

      Netflix needs to do a better job of advertising their shows. They do fine for the prestige shows that are already hits. But Iā€™ve never heard of 95% of the shows they listed. I understand that their output is big so they canā€™t put on a campaign for every show they produce. But itā€™s a shame because theyā€™re hard to find. So of course no one watches.

      Netflix has been pumping out garbage for brain-dead morons for years, ever since they hired those fuckwad reality TV showrunners when that expensive show about the black DJ flopped. The get down? I actually liked it myself but it didn’t find an audience and heads rolled at Netflix and since then they have been a certified trash factory.

      They could cancel 95% of the piss weak shit they make and nothing of value would be lost.

      I hate watched all of pop the balloon. horrible, terrible show, rightfully getting cancelled, however it made me laugh out loud with how much it sucked.

      Hadnā€™t heard of the rest, but Netflix doesnā€™t do more than 5 years for shows, so why is the Lincoln Lawyer leaving after 5 a shocker?

      Clarifying for people that this is a compilation of shows cancelled recently (or kinda cancelled-Meghans show is supposed to do one off holiday specias). Netflix did not announce today they are cancelling 11 shows.

      Iā€™m surprised The Abandons got released at all so not surprised it got cancelled. Netflix fired the Kurt Sutter as the showrunner before they even finished taping and heavily edited the entire thing. That seemed prime to be a project they scrapped for the tax write off. Even when it did finally come out, they hardly promoted it

      I think Pop The Balloon was the most stupid show I have ever seen. I couldnā€™t get beyond 1 episode.

      After watching the first 3 episodes of Outlast the Jungle I cancelled Netflix. I cant believe they put those men on TV.

      Lincoln Lawyer Iā€™m kinda surprised about cause itā€™s relatively a cheap show to make and is a pretty decent hit for them.
