Am I the only one kind of confused about the logistics of this? I’ve never been to the MSG but to most stadiums I’ve been to, it’s just piles of seating and then the stage in the center?? How would that work for a reception, unless you take all the seating out.

I know a lot of you will say it’s “not classy” but to me it makes a lot of sense.

Taylor just faces security risks that others don’t. Literal royalty or big politicians will have security from the state. She is a private citizen who still faces so many risks from psychos+terrorists+ “fans”+ media. she needs to put security first in choosing a venue and a stadium is the easiest to secure, plus helicopters can’t fly over it plus you don’t have to close streets like in Dua’s wedding, the place itself is big enough.

It also make sense to do a big celebration with emphasis on live music and in NY (her favorite city). With enough money any place can look beautiful, especially looking on the work of the rumored designer (Rishi Patel)

I just really hope the date rumors are true since it’s my wedding weekend also 😅

Yeah she’s actually getting married on the uptown Q platform at 63rd and Lex

    5. I knew it’d be a bait and switch! That would be such a nightmare location logistically for such a high profile wedding tbh.

Getting married/having a wedding party in MSG is kinda tacky to me but hey

    7. Again I still call absolute bullshit. Still make zero sense to me. Have no idea where people get the date from. Makes no sense for her to have a party in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the country on a holiday weekend. I’m going to comeback to this and laugh my ass off when nothing happens.

I kind of feel like they’re already married. She’s been papped like crazy over the last few weeks and people keep speculating that she’s in New York for wedding planning. But I kind of think if that were true, she’d be hiding.

Someone noticed that there were fireworks near her Rhode Island home a while ago. To me, that would make more sense for a small, private wedding. And now she’s just having fun throwing everyone off. We’ll get a song where she’ll confirm she’s already been married for months. Or a similar instagram post. Surprise, we got married 6 months ago.

I still don’t understand having a wedding party in a stadium. Is it because of security? Privacy? Aren’t there more beautiful and memorable places in the US to do this in?

I hadn’t been paying attention to this, renting MSG for any part of the wedding is wild to me. Sounds like quite the spectacular something is being planned.

I truly don’t believe she’d do something as tacky as use a basketball arena for her wedding reception.

I’m waiting to see if the tabloids are full of shit and Keileigh Teller and Blake Lively are both bridesmaids

People swarmed the area around Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s wedding just because Taylor Swift was a guest.

I was suspicious of this MSG venue news from the start bc I couldn’t imagine Taylor/her team willingly having that info out there WEEKS in advance. A larger celeb-filled after party makes a lot more sense to me.

Is New York significant to either of them? Why is anyone thinking the location would be NY?

I for one am shocked! Tbh it seemed a little too idk the word, but not very Taylory. Using it as an after party for the biggest pop star on the planet? That makes sense
