I love this movie so much. And this book
But Jane did have money. In fact, her family was from a higher class. They were landed gentry just like Mr Darcy. Mr Bingly was “only” wealthy from trade. His sisters were pressuring him to buy an estate to move up socially.
Guess we watching Pride and Prejudice 😅
Such a horrible adaptation of the book… big fan of p&p but I can’t stand this movie! Like the book was never understood
