    1. When I was growing up in the 70's it was all about natural beauty and so Marilyn Monroe seemed strikingly out of date. It wasn't until I saw her more obscure movies on TCM that I truly gained an appreciation for her. Thank you, Ted Turner. (RIP)

    2. She had the talent to go far but I don’t think no one would take that chance with her. Her creation of Marilyn Monroe ultimately was her prison
