The First Spinjitzu Master had two sons, one named Wu, the Master of Creation, and Garmadon, the Master of Destruction. There was an underlying evil known as the Overlord, who wished for Ninjago to be under his command and in his image. Him and the First Spinjitzu Master fought for many days and many nights, with no clear victor. In the end, the Overlord was cast to the Dark Island of Ninjago, never to be seen again for hundreds of years.
