Rich Kids’ Brendan Fitzpatrick Sued Over Alleged $80 Million Scheme | E! News

‘Rich Kids of Beverly Hills’ alum Brendan Fitzpatrick and his company Carbonatik are fighting off a lawsuit by Heavy Metal Capital Partners that alleges it lost $80 million in a “Ponzi-style scheme.” In a lawsuit initially filed in November in Florida and viewed by E! News on June 17, Heavy Metal Capital alleged that Fitzpatrick and his company “engaged in a systematic scheme to obtain money from multiple victims through fraudulent misrepresentations, omissions, and deception.” Carbonatik and Fitzpatrick, however, filed a motion to dismiss Heavy Metal Capital’s complaint earlier this month.
