      I’m a native New Yorker with anxiety (lol) and have spent this morning just waiting for the other shoe to drop, because surely we can’t have so many nice things like this. Showing pure New York City joy that is just for us and our community, rather than being a playground (and/or punching bag) for the rest of the world, for a minute is so fucking special. This isn’t for the banks or the tourists or the tech companies or the politicians. It’s for us.
