The problem is going to be the word “costs.” They are going to include everything under the Sun. They are going to act like all of the PR efforts since the WF parties filed their lawsuit are “costs” associated with the backlash. The topic of ESCAPISM …you are certainly correct when you point out that ppl get invested it messes like this because everyone's life is so chaotic right now. Wars all around the world, Trans and Gay protests, Trump and all his choices and decisions, Ebola, economy is such a mess, people are struggling to buy food….the list is so long and then you read about fools like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in such a frivolous law suit like this. It is almost laughable. How shallow and frivolous. It is easier to become invested in that than the reality of our own personal lives and struggles. I think most ppl want her to lose because she is just one more thing that is wrong with this world right now.

What kind of lawyer doesn’t keep an invoice of their hours/time worked as they go? It’s also suspicious that Gottlieb chose to go on vacation before the case is completely settled, and allegedly somewhere no one can reach him. They’re up to more dirty tricks.
The judge shouldn’t reward them for doing these things.
If they need an entire month to figure out their invoices, they shouldn’t be allowed to bill Wayfarer for that as that was Esra and Gottlieb’s choice to not keep track.
Diplomacy is not true good judgement. You should not give anything to complete liars.

I feel like Blake's attorneys clamored to represent her, maybe possibly probono. Just for the "fame" of the case, thinking it would make them famous. My guess is that's why they don't have the actual numbers from last year's fees, this being that charge was the end of last year. Just my opinion.
We all KNEW that Liman was acting to keep 47.1 protected, a bad law that's supposed to be a sort of 3RD extra-judicial avenue, apparently other than criminal prosecution (SA is a SERIOUS crime) and Sh from already established legal agencies to investigate/adjudicate. These automatic fees for lawyers tacked on has predictably created a feeding ground for lawyers to waste the courts time and resources (hope he enjoyed it!). And in the case of Liman's Lively/Reynolds case to bring the court's credibility and standing into contempt && ill repute. The extension gives 15 more days & since probability, if not certainty, of inflating billing ONLY makes sense if Liman has already reached a decision about LIMITED fees. Who knows with him, it was frivolous & shd have been dismissed up front to any right-thinking layman's thinking!
