It’s only been A YEAR? It feels like I’ve lived a lifetime since then

Omg I love how warm and clear this intro is, you can tell y’all actually care about the vibe of the space. The Sip & Spill threads are such a cute idea too, it makes it way less intimidating to jump in instead of lurking forever 😂

Lives were changed. Mostly because my five-year-old niece has been trying to hit those high notes for the past year.

This movie changed my 5 year old’s taste in music forever. It used to be all children’s songs all the time but her obsession with the songs from this has lead to her shuning kids music and wanting me to teach her the lyrics to songs so she can sing along.
Right now she’s playing with the Lego she got for her birthday last week and alternating between trying to sing Drop Dead and trying to sing This is What it Sound Like but she doesn’t know all the words so I’m sure she’ll start singing Potro Salvaje soon as she somehow knows all the words to that song.
It’s also helped to get her more interested in watching things in English, we live in Spain and Spanish is her main language, as the songs are terrible in the Spanish dub.
A few weeks ago one of her friends came over and wanted to watch KPDH and when my daughter realised her friend couldn’t understand a word she sat there and translated all the dialogue word for word. I was blown away by her ability to do that.
