I know people often say that this movie getting Oscar nominated is unlikely, but given how the Academy is taking notice to horror movies again.
Especially this past year with Sinners and Weapons getting nods, and actually winning in big categories including Best Actor (Michael B. Jordan) and Best Supporting Actress (Amy Madigan), along with the movie becoming very popular, and breaking box office records, I really think those chances are becoming more likely.
I’m really rooting for Inde Navarrette to at least get an Oscar nod, I don’t care if she wins just as long as she at least gets some recognition! She was phenomenal in this movie!

Watched a butchered version of the movie today in theatres because my country is conservative af.

Rarely does a movie feel like it has been made with such raw emotions in mind.

Haven’t had a movie where I actively would need to find negatives when it releases on home media re watches in a while because the theatre experience is just too good.

Inde killed this role. Absolutely an Oscar worth performance. I just saw the movie the other day and I left speechless from the theatre.

I just watched it today, it was a great movie, honestly one of my favourites of the year, and I’m not really much of a horror fan. Inde was fantastic, and I loved that it is clear that Bear sucked
Does anyone else think him and Zendaya might be thinking of starting their own production company? They’ve both been taking more active roles in film production and seem to enjoy having their say in the process. I think I’d be interested to see what that would look like
She was really good, as others have said, especially shocking considering I had only seen her in Superman & Lois before. That show just didn’t give her a lot to do on there, beside being a moody teenager in a bad love story.
That actors on actors would mostly just be him saying something mildly funny and Inde cackle laughing
