      Elle has some nonwhite cast members. That certainly stands out.

      I am just not grabbed by this show. I love Legally Blonde and the video where this actress got the part was touching and all, but I just don’t know. If they were going to revisit the character, I’d rather see Elle as a 40-something sending her own kid to college/post-grad.

      The OG cast having so many unlikable actors is such a bummer, and I probably won’t watch this new one either. Selma Blair is an awful Islamophobic loser. Matt Davis is a racist MAGA shithead. Reese heavily supports AI and is surrounded by questionable people. Sigh.

      Still think the only person that should have played Elle Woods in a prequel is Ava. It’s scary how much those girls look alike

      I wish they just straight did an adaption of Legally Blonde as a TV series rather than a prequel. The musical definitely shows there’s room to expand in an adaption. The movie had zero chemistry or development between the romantic leads but musical definitely handled it better.
