      This is just people wanting to get mad about something. I was at the parade; his speech was fantastic. If he had done anything less they’d be complaining that he didn’t do enough to celebrate the Knicks achievement.

      The amount of anti Muslim racism in New York since this guy has been elected is staggering.

      You know the speech cooked when the only argument is the time to a second. Of all that content, you couldn’t find a single valid point.

      The entire event went for like 6 hours(?), that 8 minutes and 19 seconds was probably the most memorable part.

      Mamdani was raised here from 7 on. As a native, the you have to be born here natives like him irk me. He grew up and was educated in NYC, he’s a New Yorker. He graduated from Bronx Science unlike Rappaport who was expelled from high school and had to scramble to get his diploma. He’s just mad he probably couldn’t give a 8 minute speech that made sense.

      Dude moved to the city when he was SEVEN YEARS OLD Michael. You cannot seriously argue that he’s a spooky scary transplant (transplants are also critical to NYC’s success if we’re being honest).

      It’s the only US city that wanted an extra word for immigrant that applies to other American citizens, while also being famous worldwide for its immigrant communities.
