    1. Jesus. I can’t even begin to imagine being in the lower section where he landed. Enjoying a concert, probably having an incredible night, and boom. Tragedy in front of your eyes in an instant and now it’s burned into your brain. Sounds so traumatic.

Is it not a little crazy that show just continued on or am I missing something?

Kind of crazy they’re using random Reddit comments as eyewitness accounts in the article.

    4. As a resident of the nosebleed section of concerts this is my literal nightmare and the thing I have to convince myself can’t happen every time I go to a show in a stadium venue.

    5. I was at MSG back in April for Lewis Capaldi and holy fuck that is a terrifying concert venue – the stairs are steep as shit and you feel like you’re going up a dozen escalators.

Sometimes these seats are so steep I’m surprised people don’t get hurt more often

    7. Whenever I go Madison Square Garden or Prudential Center, this is my greatest fear. I always look down below me and it just seems so easy to trip and for it to end badly.

      RIP

I was at a Phish show at the Chase Center in San Francisco and a man died in a similar way. There was commotion a few sections over but we couldn’t really see what had happened, and didn’t find out until the show was over. I had friends in the section he landed when it happened and it was super traumatizing.

To Goose’s credit they are already working on offering support for their fans.

My heart goes out to this man’s family and friends. I hope that everyone who witnessed this is able to get proper help to process such a horrifying experience.

    9. I just attended a graduation at Portland State University, and the place was packed- so we had to go sit up in the nosebleeds. I haven’t ever had such fear of heights.
