People prefer a version of character they first saw in their childhood. More news at 11

Of the three, I like Tom’s the best. I hated the OG when it came out, I liked Garfield’s marginally better, but Tom’s actually feels like a Spider-Man I can relate to.

    3. I’m barely a year older than Sadie and I watched all the original Spider-Man films as a kid, all I can think of now is how she has never seen them

    4.  She is in the age range of a Andrew Garfield Spider-Man, she was 10 year old when Andrew was cast as Spider-Man.

But she was 14 when Tom debuted as Spider-Man, which is also a normal age to watch your first Spider-Man movie if you aren’t necessarily a huge superhero fan.

Tbh, I was there when both movies came out, but the gap feels way bigger than 4 years.

    5. I’m sure some comic book fans are very normal about this lol as someone who only started making an effort to watch significant pop culture movies in my late teens I relate to her.

She was born in 2002 the same year the first Spider-Man movie came out, I’m from 1994 and I only watched The Lion King in my 20’s
