Most of the time if someone said they had a huge and extraordinary life I would roll my eyes. But she really has.

Damn, that’s a shame. I’m not too interested in Madonna, but I’ll always root for Julia Garner getting that bag.

She could afford to produce this through her own production company. Or at least partner up with someone to make it.

They wanted to give her a Lifetime movie budget. MADONNA.

I think she’s actually one who would benefit from the fantastical Rocketman-esque film.

I dislike the vast majority of music biopics so I’m not too bummed about this but Julia Garner seems like a great choice.

I hate that my brain went there but… Studio probably knows that as long as she’s still alive they likely won’t get a great return on such an investment. I can see them immediately greenlight the project once she passes.

Heard something from an acquaintance who is currently working on her creative projects (so take with a grain of salt): she’s quite nice to work with but is extremely particular and demanding about her creative vision. Doesn’t often align with reality re: timing, budget, physics lol. Lots of her projects have fallen through because of this

She really does have a huge life and it’s still ongoing she is still touring and creating art maybe it’s for the best the biopic waits

I’m neutral positive towards her, but she has had a super interesting life; my brother like her in the 90’s, so naturally I

I don’t quite know how to word this but I feel like Madonna’s life and general brand is too cool and rebellious for the standard big-budget, soulless, cookie-cutter biopic anyway and it surprises me a little she would even want to go in that direction.

Obviously she is one of the biggest pop stars ever but despite her mass appeal her work has always come with a genuine love for art and boundary pushing to me. I would much rather see a low-budget, experimental art film approach telling her story in an offbeat/abstract way that feels true to her spirit than the nauseating, insincere, kumbaya propaganda shit that *some* popstars are getting.
