Madonna Explains Biopic Falling Apart and Her Pivot to Making a Netflix Series
Madonna opens up in ‘Interview Magazine,’ breaking her silence on her scrapped biopic. The film, which was set to star Julia Garner, didn’t come to fruition due to a budget dispute between the singer and Universal Studios, according to Madonna. Now, she’s working on an all-new take on her life story, via a series at Netflix — which requires an all-new script, as Universal still owns the one she wrote for the film.

I just don't like her. I saw an "ick" in her person since I was a small child. There's something so off-putting about her, despite all her work. She really seems like a bad, extremely arrogant person to me, since I was very little. I could never bring myself to liking her, not even merely to tolerating her
