    1. TL;DR

      * Joe Manganiello is looking back at a difficult chapter.
      * The *True Blood* alum shared a rare glimpse into navigating his nearly decade-long health battle due to autoimmune-related illnesses while in the public eye, which led to chronic pain and an amputation.
      * “Joe Manganiello seemed to have it all: a soaring career, a new marriage, and what many considered, the best physique in Hollywood,” the official synopsis for the memoir, which will release Oct. 13, began. “Then, without warning, his body began to fail him.”
      * “A cascade of autoimmune-related illnesses attacked his skin, thyroid, eyes, lungs, and digestive system, plunging him into a seven-year battle,” it continued, “plagued by chronic pain, a life-saving organ amputation, existential crisis and a prolonged fight for survival that left doctors with few answers and no clear explanation.”
      * The *Magic Mike* actor emphasized in a statement to *People* published June 23 that this chapter was the most difficult time of his life, describing it as “one I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.”

    2. Probably had some of his colon removed from colitis or something similar, autoimmune disease is some funky stuff

    3. would like to know what he has but can’t waste life reading through an ad for Chris Tally.

I wonder why he won’t say what organ was “amputated?” And if that is what cured him of all these mysterious diseases, what was the diagnosis that led to this? I ighly doubt that the shamans and the myths and the inherited trauma yada yada had anything to do with his.

Is his career not doing so well or something?
