Jack White’s Wife Olivia Files for Divorce After 4 Years of Marriage | E! News

The White Stripes frontman Jack White’s wife of four years Olivia Jean filed for divorce June 3 in Nashville, citing “irreconcilable difference and inappropriate marital conduct” in court documents obtained by E! News as the reason for breakup. “Wife alleges that there are such irreconcilable differences between parties as would entitle Wife to an absolute divorce,” Markel, 36, wrote in the docs, listing the couple’s separation date as the day of her filing. “Wife would show that Husband is guilty of inappropriate marital conduct, which makes further cohabitation unsafe and improper.” In Tennessee, listing “inappropriate marital conduct” is a standard, fault-based reasoning for divorce. Though they’d kept their romance out of the public eye, White, 50, and Markel exchanged vows just minutes after getting engaged at his hometown concert in Detroit on April 8, 2022.
