    1. Own it Giants. You clearly f’ed up. By not saying anything Buster you’re part of the problem

He looks like he’s coming out of his skin.

      I love that for him 🙃 🌈🌈🌈

      Edit* rainbow emojis because…🤸

    3. I have no idea who this man is but I love when these bigots are made to squirm. They’re too stupid to even have a canned response and just make their phobic behaviour even more obvious.

Buster Posey hasn’t caught this much heat since Tim Lincecum was throwing to him.

I don’t know what Buster’s personal thoughts are on this matter, but the cop out of “I’ll only answer baseball questions” is total BS, and I’m very glad that reporter called him out on that.

And in SAN FRANCISCO, of all cities…

Hey All – MLB is essentially a Christian Fundamentalist organization. I would guess that the vast majority of players identify as Christian in some form or another and of that percentage a large bunch are hardcore.

      Cowards.

Good on that reporter for calling it out that they made this a big deal not the reporters

    8. MostlyBored11 on

Basically I’ma. Raging homophobe so I can’t say what I actually think so I’ll just refuse to answer questions.

Lots of respect for the reports who keep pushing it and following up

A refusal to answer questions on a certain subject is in itself a very clear answer about how you feel on that subject.

This is so upsetting for the lgbt community. It’s discouraging and demanding to us, and a reminder that we still are seen as a dangerous topic that must be avoided.

Baseball question. Buster what do you make of Ryan Walkers recent failures as a reliever? It seems to have started around June 12. What happened within the organization to contribute to this? Does your failure to manage the Pride Night event contribute to his struggles?

    12. What an embarrassment; I love how uncomfortable all this is making them. Bigots should never know peace.

All these big macho men being big divas and pulling little stunts with the hats for attention (plus the men like Buster that enable them) and now they’re having their moment and…. *CRICKETS*

The SF Giants baseball team is a group of simp cuck men that probably gawk at the gay men of San Francisco and the world with jealousy and envy at our confidence and pride.

What an embarrassment of men and of a team for the great city of San Francisco

Just a reminder that 53.7% of the MLB are registered republicans and with another 36.4% being “independents” (which like there are a ton of foreign players so yeah) with only 7.8% being actual dems… so maybe it’s not fair, but my odds of assuming a baseball player is a piece of shit are fairly high.

I don’t understand why he is so visibly upset? He has been doing interviews for decades now so media training isn’t the issue. Is he mad because of the event, or because he messed up and has to answer for it? Or some combination? That’s what someone needs to ask.

    16. Inevitable-Opinion21 on

Ughhh once again people baseball being bigoted on my feed. First saying a man can’t be a role model for eating a lollipop, now this…. Smh. Do they realize poc and gays aren’t going anywhere????

    17. Can someone explain the controversy? What was on the hats? What was pride night?

    18. Last year the cubs had a sad token float at pride with no players and honestly why are they even bothering. Just own your hate guys, that’s the trend right?

    19. Man, seeing Buster turtle was not on my bingo card. Used to be on my top 3 favorite Giants of all time, now he can go fuck himself.

As president of baseball ops, I’m gonna bury my head in the sand until you guys go away.

    21. Let’s start an urban legend that Buster Posey is named after [Buster](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buster_(actor))

**”Jeffrey Wayne Cole** (August 23, 1958 – May 10, 1991), known professionally by the stage name **Buster**, was an American adult film actor, model, and political candidate. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he became a prominent figure in the “Golden Age” of gay adult cinema in the 1980s before running for the West Hollywood City Council in 1986.”

Good for that reporter and bad by SFG. Just wish reporters would treat Trump this way.

    23. AgitatedKoala3908 on

Didn’t like him when he was a player, like him even less now in maangement.

    24. HandsomeGemini on

I don’t follow baseball, but are these players at least getting booed by their fans? I mean, they play in San Francisco, you would think the SF fans wouldn’t be cool with this.

    25. Posey is upset because he didn’t want fans to know he’s a bigot. He doesn’t believe that it’s wrong to tell some fans they’re not welcome in the ballpark, and he thinks that if we were offended, we deserved it for being sins against God.

The players talked about the Pride Night cap defacement for a month prior. Buster knew about it, like everyone else in the clubhouse. It’s a disgrace and an embarrassment to my home town. I threw my daily Giants caps in the trash and cut up my t-shirts for cleaning rags. I have 40 years of merch and swag that’s now worthless.
