Nobody is getting that Liz is trying to protect Alicia from OUR JUDGMENT being as though she comes from privilege. Her saying she's homeless could come across as insensitive to people who are really truly struggling on the streets. She's also so like she said trying to protect Alicia's family whom she loves too. Put your thinking caps on people.

Liz is horrible
Liz is a very bad person. The worst type of person. She’s the type who will tell you about yourself and your life experiences. She’s the type that can dish it but can’t take it. She’s the type that if you’re upset she’s not going to comfort you, she’s going gaslight and victimize herself.

THIS IS WHAT HOMELESSNESS LOOKS LIKE FOR WOMEN WITH CHILDREN. THEY TRY AND FIND GOODWILL ANYWHERE BUT THE STREETS FOR THE SAFETY OF THE CHILDREN & THEMSELVES. Women who are literally on the streets hide out of sight and detection b/c homeless and other mxn are predators who prey on them. They will get trafficked, graped, robbed, assaulted, etc. Women will literally hide under trash to go unnoticed. They are excluded from counts and surveys when govt collects date on the homeless pop for funding. Those manosphere loons incorrectly claim males suffer from more homelessness b/c data is only collected in shelters, encampments, etc which are groups out in the open receiving govt support. These are the places the males congregate while the females mostly hide and avoid these places. This family was still in a precarious situation. Parents often make daughters in this situation feel unwelcome or they can't support the extended family long-term etc.

Lol, to think Liz believes she's protecting reputation or being honorable to Alicia family's is STUPID and over stepping…dang for Liz to think she is the Mafia Boss is crazy mentality🫢; considering Liz disrespected aka the family by pure ignorance towards what a child experienced and suffers through during a dire time of her life of uncertainty and stability. I 100% dislike Liz now and she is absolutely wrong on Alicia and homelessness. Also, how Liz is doubling down on this is gross. I know because my sister was a teen mom and she moved from apartment to apartment, stayed with family, would go back to an apartment, live with a boyfriend, gone to a women’s shelter, etc. For Liz to tell Alicia how she experienced her childhood is soo wrong, even if Liz knew Alicia growing up, that doesn’t make it right for her to tell Alicia no you didn’t experience this. Disgusting Liz.

Liz just looks like she has a deep dark nasty side to her. No empathy for her friend is so strange. They had to move in with her grandparents, the mom could not afford a home on her own, that is homeless.
If someone I considered my friend was continuing to cry at the dinner table about something that I said, I would feel terrible and apologise. Liz had zero empathy for her and it was mean.
