I wish they’d have had given Evan Rachel Wood a part.

Is this the part where we talk about how horrendous their facial alterations are even though they almost look exactly the same as they always have?

Color grading is really dead, the first movie is so pretty

I think it’s fine if they wanna do something to their faces- the thing that needs to change is lightening, colour choices, editing choices etc. Movies look terrible, everything looks so cheap and artificial

I’ve never heard of this movie and based on these photos I thought this was a wlw story so I ran to watch the trailer. Very disappointed.Ā
The original film was LUSH. The red roses grown overnight , Gillianās green velvet dress, the inky blue of the sky at night as seen from the tower, the warm earthly tones of the kitchen, everything was so vivid. I donāt understand what is happening with filmmaking today.

Can someone who knows movies or film lighting explain why they all look like this now? Every other new movie is ugly

I don’t understand why someone would trade laugh lines for not being able to smile with your eyes — especially as an actor where facial expressions are often so much more important than dialogue. I’d rather just read the novel adaptation.

Just make something original, please! With new actors! I have zero expectations of this being any good.

Personally just happy this is an excuse for Nicole to ho back to being a redhead. As a fellow redhead I was sad to lose her to blonde š¤£

Nicoleās Kidmans bangs in the first is one of my fave hairstyles ever.
I wish they didnāt wait so long to make a new one though.

Goodness. I just rewatched the first movie last Halloween, and itās so fun. And I get peopleās issues, but Iām still going to see this and in the theatre because we need to encourage more films about women and especially older women.

Botox aside color grading here is a main issue.
