      No more billionaire propaganda. Batman is not exempt from the guillotine just because he wears a cool suit and beats up people.

      Edit: okay guys i didn’t know he isn’t billionaire, in most adaptations he is so forgive me. I’ll give the Absolute Batman comics a read!

      The series stars a 24-year-old [blue-collar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue-collar_worker) [civil engineer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_engineer) named Bruce Wayne, who operates at night as the vigilante Batman, fighting crime with his self-designed equipment and armor. While doing so, he is stalked by an [MI6](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MI6) agent, [Alfred Pennyworth](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Pennyworth).[[2]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolute_Batman#cite_note-:1-2) Unlike the mainstream DC continuity’s Bruce Wayne, this version grew up without family wealth in [Crime Alley](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotham_City), and many of his classic enemies, including [Killer Croc](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killer_Croc), the [Riddler](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riddler), and the [Penguin](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penguin_(character)), are childhood friends, while the [Joker](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joker_(character)) is reimagined as a billionaire.

      Please let the animation be good, this is the best recent example of how a complete overhaul of a character is possible. Everyone can get behind it because Snyder clearly cares about the character he’s redefined before.

      Very cool but as much as I love Absolute Batman I really wish they’d adapt one of the others.

      Absolute Wonder Woman is incredibly good, as are Superman and Martian Manhunter.

      But Batman is Batman, easy seller I guess.

      Absolute Batman reignited my love for comics . The absolute line in general is some of the most inspired work I have read the past few years in regards to comics. Absolute Martian manhunter and absolute Wonder Woman is also phenomenal. Really excited as Scott Snyder is the show runner for this.
