It looks very Robert Eggers – if you want vibrant colours Robert Eggers is decisively not your man for it lol. I didn’t love nosferatu but anything from him is worth a watch tbh. I appreciate his vision and singular artistic sensibilities even if I don’t always completely adore the end result.

    2. I can’t read that title without thinking of MST3K, where they are watching a movie, the title Werewolf comes on screen, and one of the bots goes, “I don’t know, you had him last!”

Dark, cold, grim setting with very few colors except during extremely graphic bloody scenes to the sounds of watermelons being squished?

In this version of the story, the werewolf was taken in by a much older lady werewolf who knew him since he was a pup and everyone thinks it’s weird

I’m just glad Eggers is finally showing Hollywood all the INCREDIBLY RICH possibilities we have with historical horror.

Here’s a preview: camera pans slowly across the empty forest. camera slowly pans back and —the werewolf is standing RIGHT THERE!

      scary.

I like his vision, his style. I wish he came up with his own stories instead of retelling the past ones.

I read Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Anya Taylor-Joy and was so fucking confused when I looked at the picture.

Is this a safe space to say I think Eggers only had one good movie in him (the Witch).:
