Some of us get old and sick from genetics, lifestyle, diet, etc. Not everyone can tour at 72yo.

78 year old here!! Dizziness can be due to a lot of things. I am sure they will give him a thorough neuro and physical workup. On the catastrophic side, it could be a brain tumor, some kind of cancer. Less serious but equally crappy: middle ear stuff, dehydration, some imbalance in his system, exhaustion. I had serious vertigo and thought I was having a stroke. The guys at Tulane did everything but pierce my ears. MRI, blood tests, the works. I had not had a stroke, but instead Benign Positional Vertigo. As you get older the fluid in your middle ear dries up a bit,; so shifting your head and weight and gaze will sometimes send you spinning. Luckily it is treatable and manageable with low impact exercises, medication, hydration, and gentle positional therapy. I wish Lionel well. He looks like a lovely man.
