Today I’m taking you along for a candid week in my life raising 3 boys along side my daughter. Boys are so different from girls and I want to talk about some life lessons. Along the way we are going to move my baby out of the nursery and into the big boy room, take my son to hockey camp, make a deconstructed coffee, go to a 717 truck show, give haircuts, and go to Strasburg Railroad as a family. It’s a busy week in Lancaster County, and I’m excited to take you along!

My husband has had when they first came out. (1988) He is on his second one! He even cut my hair when I wore it short. Great tool. The boys Yankee pictures would be cute where you have the collage of country pictures so they are up front and center as you come into the room. Cute idea!

I only have girls. 😅🤍🩷 But minus the haircuts, my girls enjoy all of the bove, haha 😅 They're 8, 6, & 2 … And they get gross and dirty with the best of em!! 😅 My oldest ruins just about every pair of shoes and outfits I buy her…from climbing, mud, biking, trying to build things outside, lol, and yeah. My middle loves loves climbing trees, skating, cooking with mud, and her and my oldest love bugs and learning about all things outdoors…they especially know a ton about animals and space…they love dinosaurs, haha. They go to work with their daddy, haha. He owns a construction company. He sends photos of them using the drill, hammer, saw, etc. and yes, we go to car shows and such!! 🚛❤🚗 They both really enjoy sports and have learned how to be a little lady while doing so. 😉💜 I have always said that there is nothing wrong with my girls being a tomboy…just be a ladylike one. 😊 I was very similar growing up! Going to work with my dad and brother…up on roofs, putting siding on houses, etc. 😅
I was thinking my youngest would be different?? she was my 31weeker NICU baby (was there almost two months)…but nope…she is tougher than her other two!! 😳 The dangerous stuff she gets into has by far surpassed the other two's toddler adventures…and she disappears so fast! Found her in the middle of the road last year, and a car was coming over the hill. It was so scary!! I had just looked for her and saw her!! 😨 Anyway, I think it's probably more of a personality thing for a lot of things, rather than a gender difference…I have friends with lots of little boys and they definitely do think differently. 😊❤ Happy Summer to you!! I have all boys. 6, 4 1/2, and 2. At first I was so scared because I only grew up around girls. Now I feel intimidated by the thought of having a girl someday 😅 I love my boys, life is so busy and fun.

I have 4 boys! No girls. All of my boys were cuddly and so sweet when they were younger. They still are but “different” now! Question about your clothing storage method in the dressers…do you fold them or just throw them in? It might be my OCD, but do they not come out wrinkled? I would love to figure out a way to spend much fewer hours of my life meticulously folding everything. 😅

My son used to study maps for hours committing each one to memory. This same son also played with his train set for hours and now at 20yo is working at a local place that has historical trains maintaining them. He loves his job!

You could hang a flag on the back part of the bunk wall. It could be cloth, look for sport one, America one, could be a guilt with a theme you like. Tye it on no holes and could be washed. Or a blanket with texture.

I have two girls, 13 and 12, and two boys, 9 and 6. While I was watching this video in the shower, my 9 year old knocked on the door and after I said, “Yes??” He said, “I just wanted to know if we can snuggle when you get out.” ❤❤❤
I have raised 4 boys, but I'm really out of your age range as the oldest "boy" is almost ready to get Social Security!!!! Granddaughters are GREAT!!!
“Love You Forever” was our go-to book when my boys and I struggled – it was a good reminder to us that our family would be strong and love each other forever. When my son moved to Los Angeles at 25, he saw it in Target and sent me a photo of “our” book! My boys are 40 and 42 now, and I wouldn’t trade being a boy mom for anything! Our only grandchild (for now) is a girl, so I’m enjoying watching a little girl grow up! My daughters-in-law are the perfect rounding out of our family!
