Olivia Rodrigo Rock Hall Performances: Carly Simon, Sheryl Crow & The White Stripes Tribute

Every Olivia Rodrigo performance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, from 2022 through 2025.

Olivia Rodrigo first appeared at the Rock Hall 2022 Induction Ceremony to perform “You’re So Vain” to honor Carly Simon — one of the most recognizable songs in Carly Simon’s catalog, originally released in 1972 from her album No Secrets.

The following year, Olivia Rodrigo returned to perform “If It Makes You Happy” with 2023 Inductee Sheryl Crow, the song Sheryl Crow released in 1996 as the lead single from her self-titled second album.

In 2025, Olivia Rodrigo and Feist took the stage together to honor The White Stripes with a performance of “We’re Going to Be Friends,” the Jack White and Meg White track from The White Stripes’ 2001 album White Blood Cells.

Across three Induction cycles, Olivia Rodrigo has appeared as a tribute performer for artists who span folk-pop, alt-rock, and indie — a range that reflects how widely Olivia Rodrigo’s own musical touchstones run.

    1. I know this is a tribute, but is she singing about herself?.
Great outfit wrong moment for it.
Has they ever seen a photo of Carly Simon.
See what I did there, incorrect english used correctly.

    2. Seeing her go from the shy teenager playing at the tiny desk years ago to this confident artist is a damned great journey to witness.

      She's so good!

    3. Olivio's singing – fantastic..she's just a great singer…however, her voice is just too sweet to be the spurned lover of the first two songs – the white stripes song, however, fits her a lot better – I'd like to hear sheryl crow sing 'you're too vain' though – she has the right amount of 'been there' in her voice
