    1. The number of times in my life I've referenced my "long luxurious blond hair cascascadating down my back" 😂😂😂
Makes no difference that my hair has never been any of those things!

    2. I am so happy that this reimagining of Whoopi's Monologues is coming back to the theater. Back in the 80s, I rented the videotape several times after seeing Whoopi in "The Color Purple," and I really enjoyed watching this show. After seeing it so many times, I could recite most of the words Whoopi said because it was so enjoyable to watch. I remember buying the DVD back in the early 2000s, and I was disappointed because some of the segments were edited out for the content. I wish I could watch this new show to see how well this cast does with the material.

    3. Whoopi, I am 70 years old, and I have👍and have been a fan of yours ever since that comedy act, and you still are the same women as you were back then. Thank you for being you

    4. Did Alyssa, Joy and Ana just go off stage while the visiting actresses were on stage. WHOOPI ,DESERVES HER HONOR NOW!! She is a legend in her own time,an icon.

We love WHOOPI. SHE IS DEFINITELY WALKING IN HER TRUTH.

I HAVE SEEN MORE MOVIES OF HER AND LORETTA DIVINE, ON UTUBE.
I DIDN'T KNOW THEY HAD STARRED IN SO MANY MOVIES AND PLAYS. TWO OUTSTANDING ACTRESSES.

    5. Whoo!!! I love Whoopi in the 1984 monologues I love the old rasin, it was incredible ,all the monologues that night was unforgettable ,I still talk about them today because now I have a old rasin 😜 ❤

    6. Cannot wait to see it saw the original one womzn show and you couldn't leave the theater without feeling the humanity coming through loud and clear❤

    7. 💐I remember seeing her show in the 1980s via VHS video.
💐I love Whoopi's 1985 original one-woman show, named "Whoopi Goldberg: Direct From Broadway", specifically because I recognized the 'Little Girl' character.
❤😊🤗The 'Little Girl' is my favorite character.
As a young girl I actually used to put a shirt on my head and pretend to have long hair. 🤭
🤭14:55 "And look! Now it's in my eyes." LOL.
      Thankfully, I have outgrown that.
Nevertheless, that 'Little Girl' character gives expression to an experience that is real and relateable to young African-American girls particularly during the 1980s.
(I can't speak on behalf of more resent generations.)
Also the one-woman or one-man show is an interesting genre; to see one actor playing different parts/roles.
👍🏾🙂Just wonderful to see this. 💐💐💐💐💐
