      Yall love to hate on Katy and I certainly get why but this is sort of a pointless stat. Its got more views than the new singles by Sombr, Benson Boone, Gracie Abrams, and Charli XCX who are all hot atm… the low views is just an indicator of youtube itself flopping. Besides Asian music, as youtube is still relevant in that area, people no longer really go on youtube to listen to music, and that directly reflects in the views. Most people use Spotify or Apple Music now which is why the numbers are lower.

      Song is so bad.

      I feel like Lifetimes is the only recent song by hers that’s up to her old standards but not sure why that one was barely promoted .

      Chart patrolling and monitoring stream counts has completely taken the fun out of consuming literally anything. Like did u like the song or not. Did u have that opinion before looking at the comments or not. I mean shit I’m not excluded but damn where does it end.       Unpopular Opinion: I don’t like this song cause it sounds way too much like her 2010s stuff, however, I KNOW Katy Perry can do better than this! She has just become lazy like other certain Artist in her Genre.

      Honestly she had all the makings of a one hit wonder with I Kiss A Girl and I feel like she just got extremely lucky that she had more hits after that. Girl hang it up it’s over.

      Some people are so freaking mean.

      I do still root for her and hope she gets to have good songs again. This is a good step in the right direction.

      Just saw a comment saying it’s fun to make fun of her, but I honestly don’t like to make fun of anyone. She has made stupid decisions, but I still hope she gets her renaissance. Was listening to “Simple” today and it’s a heck of a song. She can do it, she just needs to focus and re-listen all her projects and see where she can go. She definitely has it, she just needs to find it again.
