But I thought Mandani was a homophobic Shakira law espouser who’s going to ban Grindr because he doesn’t support Israel, the most queer friendly country in the world (they have killed countless queer people).

Just a reminder that almost 14% of every American’s taxes goes towards the military 🙂 the military spends on average ALMOST ONE TRILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR. I will gladly pay for a stranger’s genitals… at least that benefits someone…

This is amazing for trans people living in NY. As a trans person living in a deep red state oh how I wish I had plenty of funds to relocate to NY someday. I rarely go out in public here because there’s nothing to do and I’m surrounded by MAGA.
This is laudable AND we still need to keep the pressure up. Zohran’s one city-run transition clinic announced so far is only serving trans people 19 and up, expanding and helping to legitimize the denial of care to legal trans adults (18 year olds are adults and should be allowed to transition if they want to!!!). Celebrate the victories, and let them energize us to keep fighting
