I had a dude do that at me in a trailer park when I was a teen, It startled me because, well hell it was unexpected, but after that I got ready immediately but his family got to him first and apologized so I let it go.
About thirty years ago a pizza delivery driver was found dead in a motel bathroom They strangled him and drown him. The pizza place were he worked was robbed right afterwards and the workers were worried that the delivery guy would walk in during the robbery not knowing the guy was allready dead by the guys robbing them. It was a violent robbery were the employees were tied up.
It was great that the dad stood watch and it was enough in this case, but I've seen a few vids like this and it occurs to me that in homes where people walk around barefoot, even dads might not really be ready to run to help or defend.
A job and the law will always say what you can't do. If you want to live and love your family, you will do what's necessary. Any driver that understands needs to keep it on them always..
