      J.Lo is actually #2 – she has 54.8M monthly listeners on Spotify and currently no label/contract. Her new song with Alok “everything’s fine (PM)” is genuinely GREAT, came out yesterday.

      TIL you can be an independent artist while signed to an independent record label. I for some reason thought being independent meant you aren’t signed to a record label? So what’s the main difference between an independent record label and a non-independent one?
