Now ask him about going to know rapist Vince McMahon’s latest birthday and saying he loves him

Now knowing Pete is a deadbeat, I’m sure he’s listening to this info in one ear and it’s going straight out the other

I love how seriously he took the Make a Wish responsibility.
Bret Hart talked about how Ultimate Warrior once left a sick kid waiting for hours at a show.
Cena may very well be a robot, but he seems to have some good programming lol

Any job or volunteer work that puts you around dying children can be extremely difficult and not for everyone. It kind of breaks something inside you to know a child that died. I thought I could do it one day and then something changed in my brain when I had a kid of my own. I just can’t now, but I have nothing but respect and compliments and encouragement for everyone who does.

I appreciate how seriously Cena takes that responsibility, but if this is any indication of the kind of conversationalist Pete Davidson is then this show goes on the “Netflix makes bad programming choices” pile with all the wonderful shows they ran into the ground or axed too early.

We lost my sister to leukemia when she was four and I was seven. Make a wish sent us to Disney. I feel so grateful for people like John Cena and other celebrities that have given their time to support a child through make a wish. He is absolutely right that it takes a toll. Some of the nurses left the floor after my sister passed. It’s a lot and it makes all the people who help terminally ill children so special

Not here to defend the guy, but I saw a TikTok of the convo that started before this point where Pete shares his experience with make a wish and it’s pretty nuanced and how much he admires Cena for his continued work with the org.

I was never big on wrestling, but I am a Cena fan based mostly on his Make A Wish work.
