The Marítimo de La Guaira defender shared an emotional tribute on Instagram June 26, sharing that his wife, Andrea Bello, died while protecting the couple’s 20-month-old daughter, Alana, during the powerful earthquakes that hit the country on June 25.       So many heroes will be made in the days to come from the massive losses because of the earthquake. Some will be known but many will not. In all of the heartbreak this father has closure, he knows it's where his wife and child are and he has his baby to love and live for.

      My condolences and prayers are with and for all the loved ones and those who love this family and to the entire soccer professionals and the fans.. may God comfort you during this tragedy although only God Himself can give your broken hearts ease right now her sacrifice was not in vain and may her spirit live on through that blessed child … What greatness is this new child what great future will she have it must be very very important very special and far reaching the heroism and powerful love and strength of a mother and the greatness and self disciplined commitment to be the very best one can humanly be this child is surely born with great purpose….
