      Iran not qualifying is a disgrace. That last game was just Austria and Algeria toying with Irans emotions, equalizing then passing the ball back and forth for twenty minutes and then of course they are granted extra minutes past where the the game should have ended to equalize again. The game should have been over when Algeria scored.

      Being Iranian and watching them get fucked over repeatedly has been like experiencing a rollercoaster of emotional abuse. I’m genuinely exhausted

      I had high hopes for Japan and then they get seeded against Brazil 😭

      Also US could go to the QF/Semis barring any horrific play. That would be huge

      I consider myself a patriotic American, but I find myself rooting for Iran just because Trump wants to be on stage when the winners get the trophy.
