DC should learn that if it’s not a character fans are familiar with and deeply invested in that they will wait until the movie goes to streaming and watch it on their 70 plus inch tv at home instead of dealing with the theater.

Interesting how people are coming out of the woodwork to talk about how Supergirl is a terrible, terrible, terrible bomb but we only had a few articles about how The Mandalorian and Grogu, Masters of the Universe and Disclosure Day all bombed as well.
I wonder what is the difference here…

This movie had so little marketing in advance which is bs!

I imagine part of the lesson is “don’t go against Toy Story”, but it’s also got to be that people don’t have the money these days to go see movies about superheroes just in case they’re good. That time has passed.
Reviews indicate that this is… okay? There aren’t many movies anymore that are worth the current ticket cost. It’s not like anyone I know is seeing them either, because everyone just waits for streaming.

Seeing a movie as a family is like 100 bucks including food. It better be worth it.

This post has barely any traction in two hours. People just don’t care.

CIA Superior: What did we learn, Palmer?
CIA Officer: I don’t know, sir.
CIA Superior: I don’t f*****’ know either. I guess we learned not to do it again.
