Lego has long struggled with appealing to young girls and teen girls like it does boys, so this is a pretty cool move to see as a Lego fan.
Edit: I’m not saying girls and women don’t like Lego or major franchises Lego has collaborated with, I’m saying Lego has a long history of being both intentionally and unintentionally for boys. This collab is one of many steps Lego has taken in the last decade to be more broadly appealing.

The sets are really cute! The minifigs in particular are so detailed and fun. I think kids/tweens/teens and adult Olivia fans will have a lot of fun building these. I might pick up the flowers since I love the color scheme.
However, I really don’t understand the facial expression she is making in the first photo – is that really the best pic they could get? It makes me feel like she’s being held hostage or something, and not that she’s excited to share these cool sets with fans.
