The Raad van State (Council of State) is the highest advisory council of the Netherlands. The King is its ceremonial president and the Queen and Princess of Orange are ceremonial members of the Council. The Vice-president of the Raad van State (Thom de Graaf), who is the day to day leader of the Council, had his farewell meeting today. Tomorrow the new Vice-president (Sybrand van Haersma Buma) will take office.
In the unlikely situation where there is no eligible successor to the Dutch throne, it is the Vice-president of the Raad van State who becomes the head of state.

Didn’t Maxima wear this same exact dress with the same exact hat in Kenya? I remember I thought it was a surprising combination and now she’s repeating the entire outfit. Was the hat made specifically for this dress?
I think Amalia is my fav of the younger royals for fashion watching
