    This is one of those songs that you don’t appreciate til it’s been so long. This was fergies comeback single !

      And the like really took off, everyone still looks themselves and everyone looks fucking good!

      This song is so good. Still listen to it every few weeks.

      I understand the grief she got for her rendition of the National Anthem, but this kind of high attitude mix of rap and vocal swagger is her sweet spot.

      Also, “Big Girls Don’t Cry (Personal)” is one of the most vulnerable pop songs of the 21st Century that should’ve gotten her taken more seriously as an artist.

      I hope she releases more music and tours again.

      Feels like she just missed a very narrow time where this would have went big, like a few months or a year or two before. 

      Like Bang Bang and Bad Blood and that Iggy Azaela Charli XCX song. All of those were similar but better, she just needed one part to be a bit more catchy. 

      Edit: And any of M.I.A’s stuff was a banger and Fergie had a bit of influence from that I think. Should have copied it more

      Or maybe I was distracted by the US political stuff. Either way… erm…

      it’s just a little less cool when you look back and realize she dated JT when she was an adult and he was a teen… suddenly the song feels a little too on the nose tbh. I loved it when it came out, but I didn’t know about her dating a 16 year old at 23….

      The lighting in this is so blasted I thought Chrissy Teigen was Jennifer Lawrence and Amber Valletta was Amber Heard 😂😭 my quiet disappointment when I realized not…
