Why did they give Jeremy a smoked-out copper liner and an inner corner highlight

This movie’s marketing consisting almost entirely of reminders of how good The Social Network is *will not* do it any favors.

With all due respect to Aaron Sorkin, the cast, and the crew of The Social Reckoning: it will be impossible to create the same magic that The Social Network had because David Fincher is not directing. I’m absolutely sure the script is brilliant. It’s Sorkin, after all. But without Fincher, there’s not going to be that spark that made The Social Network tick.
That’s not always the case with directors. Sequels can be directed by other directors and carry on the same spark. Fincher is an exception, because Fincher is an exceptional director.
That being said, I’m really looking forward to Jeremy Strong’s performance. He eerily looks and feels like Zuck.
Another detail: are Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross composing the score for the film? If not, then that’s just another critical hit to what made The Social Network one of the best movies of that decade.

Borrrrrrring! The most skippable ad-looking ad for what will surely be another Sorkin snooze-fest. Count me out.

Love how clear the vibes are here. “No bullies, no bigotry” and BIPOC + LGBTQ+ centered is exactly the kind of space I actually wanna spend time in. Genuinely feels like the opposite of every chaotic celeb gossip comment section on Instagram 😂

Sorkin misunderstanding the appeal of his own movie? What else is new. I hate everything about this.
The whole OG movie was on a topic no one had made before in a way no one can made before. Reznor, the cast, Cronenweth, the editors and above all Fincher made Sorkins verbose script sound fresh and young and sexy?
This will be shit. Sorkin is tiresome and judging by Trial of Chicago 7, he is no where near where Fincher is. The original never felt like it is trying to be like biopic based on real events. It felt like a fairytale.
What is this movie trying to tell us? Oh horrible tech person is horrible? And rich? Like why should I care.
The original is one of my favorite movies ever. It literally made me understand what each person does. This will be horrible and I hope it bombs.
Also obligatory Fincher was robbed for the Cats director

Love it. Calling back the first movie’s poster is a good call. Still really scared about this movie…
