Melissa McCarthy to Star in JonBenét Ramsey Murder Series | E! News

Melissa McCarthy will star as JonBenét Ramsey’s mom Patsy Ramsey in Netflix’s upcoming limited series ‘The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey.’ Set to be released in winter 2026, the show “centers on one of the most infamous unsolved murder cases in American history, and the devastating personal and public reckoning that followed the death of JonBenét Ramsey on Christmas night in 1996,” per the streamer. Netflix also revealed Clive Owen will step into the role of JonBenét’s dad John Ramsey, while actress Emily Mitchell will play JonBenét. Other stars attached are Garrett Hedlund as Det. Steve Thomas, Alison Pill as Det. Linda Arndt and Angus Caldwell as JonBenét’s brother Burke Ramsey. McCarthy is also set to executive produce the series.
