      As a Bosnian-Canadian I’m disappointed with the result, but at least the BiH team got to see the golden gate (if anyone gets the reference lol)

      I don’t know what I’m more mad about: Bosnia playing so poorly (they truly did and they need a new goalie) and losing or subjecting myself to a live discussion on another sub where thousands of Americans were saying shit like “that’s what you get for being a third world country” and “stay mad and stay firmly in that third world” and “NATO will never approve you” and calling us “cavemen”. And not to mention the Islamophobia. And how we should sterilize ourselves.

      I should’ve left the post the second I saw MAGAts screaming about the red card and how Trump should have the ref detained by ICE. It was so sickening to see.

      Nevermind the fact that it seemed like most of these Americans never even watched football before. The very concept of offside seems to break their brain. They also don’t get why that one Bosnian guy who was pulling the US dude’s shirt didn’t get a penalty.

      Frustrated as hell and wish I didn’t witness that. The post *and* the game. But honestly mostly that post. Made me sick to my stomach to see people say shit like that about another country. I’ve been visiting each discussion post for each game so far and I’ve never seen this much vitriol. I still feel legit sick over it.

      Having to cheer for Belgium is really annoying.
