That being said If you have a dog as it's owner it's your responsibility to keep control of your dog and if your dog should attend to buy anyone who's coming to make a delivery they do have every right to protect themselves now pearl a box directly at the dog as hard as you can No no that's not appropriate but do everything you can to avoid being bit and maybe attempting to put your boot up so that they can't bite your leg. Or your thigh, that's reasonable more than reasonable.
I agree with the delivery man. Because these dog owners should have these animals on a leash. They think this is funny, that's why they be filming these horrible attacks from their dogs on YouTube. Nah, id have beat his ass to death if he'd done that to my dog on my property. Ultimately the dog was on his property. You could argue that he was defending himself, but so was the dog. But the thing that would've led to his ass beating and possible death was the way he aggressively approached the owner ready to throw hands. i wouldn't have put up with that one bit. One of us would've died that day, i know that much.

When I was a kid I used to have a dog in my neighborhood chase me all the time. The owners never did anything. So I got a squirt bottle and filled it with soapy water. One day he came at me full speed… and got a face full. Problem solved.
