You guys need to stop being so bitter an uneducated about stuff ffs. Yes the UAE is a bit of a crap-shot.
But like, Elton John played there over 10 years ago as did Price, Gaga etc. Immigrants make up literally 90% of the population there, that’s who these artists cater too… and in any case… the majority of Emirates are reasonably normal anyway. Yes countries like these are full of unsavoury types but find better things to be concerned about than whether or not an artist plays a gig at at F1 Grand Prix – a worldwide event.

Maybe we should end this culture of idealising celebrities and not put them on high pedestal because at the end of the day it’s more on politicians and it’s the fans who literally made these people go on Top. Again it’s not shocking how when popstars want to be famous and successful they get vocal about the issues which affects normal people yet when they get more money they don’t really stand for what the preached.
Disappointing!!

personally, i don’t actually think it’s any different from performing at the US GPs, it’s sorta problematic because they are problematic places right now, but also it’s not like the people performing at rallies, private parties and the like. yes, the UAE hosts it to seem more tourist friendly, so do other host countries, like the US, so it would be hypocrisyÂ
that said, remember when people acred like she was a saint and above charts and money and evil wrongdoings.Â
she is a performer and i don’t actually think racing fans in abu dhabi are less deserving of concerts as the ones in miami, so whatever
