Book the man a hotel suite (top floor !) and call it a day? If my family treated me the way he and his wife claims, I wouldn’t want to stay under their roofs anyways.
Buckingham Palace says that the Sussexes first failed to confirm about whether Harry would accept the offer, and then declined it. Harry then changed his mind and decided he would stay after all, but BP told him that there now wasn’t enough notice to make the necessary preparations. This was communicated to Harry at the weekend.
Harry’s spokesperson says that he *did* accept the offer and was disappointed to have it “withdrawn” today (but doesn’t specify *when* Harry accepted this offer and if his agreement was communicated within the minimum period of notice).
Whenever you get royal commentators talking about how the Sussexes could have been such an asset to the BRF and it’s such a shame that they left…you just look at this level of drama and think that there is very little the Sussexes could bring to the table that would outweigh the headache of trying to wrangle them.

Charles has always been a despicable husband and father. He has never had any kind of love for his kids, it was only duty for him to produce an heir and a spare after which he got back to his mistress who was waiting all along for him in the background.
With William, Charles has no choice but to play happy family for the camera coz Will is the heir. While in reality the only person he has ever loved is his mistress and now wife. I read that he even has trust funds set up for Camilla’s 2 kids.
This man is such a fanny.
Maybe he thought by going public he’d force their hand? It does seem quite a stupid move but it plays into his narrative of the RF as an inflexible institution. Presumably there are practical things to have been done to arrange his stay at BP (which as far as I understand isn’t used as a residence by any member of the RF) and he would have been aware of this.
This is probably one of the many reasons why William doesn’t talk to Harry anymore. Every conversation and interaction just has to be a full blown circus that ends up in the media. It’s exhausting.
The royal family have withdrawn the offer that he can stay there.

Im not really a fan of the current establishment, but writing a massive global tell-all about how horrible your family is and then expecting them to cater to you at all is delusional. There was a trade off for writing the book and that was money in exchange for severance. Pay for your security and keep it moving.
