    Cruz praises Trump for “getting rid of that ridiculous red card”


    Ted Cruz thanked Trump, in the Oval Office, for getting rid of that "ridiculous" red card: "There was a reason the FIFA trophy sat here for as long as it did!"

    …and Trump seems to agree an like it.

    This is now beyond repair, official "acknowledgment" of interference in sports.🙁 My way or the highway… MAGA's are nuts.

      Rescinding a red card for a man who was accidentally born in the US and claimed birthright citizenship and for whom Trump has been trying to get the Supreme Court to overturn the 14th Amendment to deny people like him a claim to citizenship.

      It’s the darkest comedy at this point.

      I feel so bad for Balogun and I wish him well but he should serve a suspension like everyone else.

      Most US Americans do not get football.

      When they played Australia, Australia were chanting songs that you’d hear anywhere in the world and the Americans were saying “you’re obsessed with us, we’re rent free!” No pals, it’s football…everyone sings at the opposition. Doesn’t matter if it’s Man United or Cork City or USA or Paraguay. Everyone gets mocked.
