      I would never, *never* idolize politicians. With that said, I am so close to fangirling if I ever end up seeing this guy in real life. I would definitely want to get a picture with him if possible. I am hoping this guy’s term as mayor keeps going strong and I’m so happy/jealous for/of the people of NYC for having him as their mayor. 😁

      Mamdani is an excellent example of old school politicking that just plain works – sitting, talking with and being generally around the people. Far too many politicians act like feaudal lords in this country (and many are stupid enough to be such).

      This is reminding me of when Obama started getting really popular. I’d love to see Mamdani become governor in the next few years and then president after that.
