#1 ever tunnel rat in vietnam searching for the enemy with deadly snakes , booby traps punji sticks etc. makes opal mining a walk in teh park
Doesn't even come close to my 7 minute shift at McDonald's boomer
Don’t get me started on tunnel rats from the Vietnam war. My great uncle was one that somehow made it through his tours. Life expectancy was under 60 seconds.
When he said looking up from the bottom of a coke bottle my mind went straight to a little tiny cocaine flask bottle😂
Dude….60 feet is 18m.
That is nothing.
Where the women at?😅
Me and my buddy were both in the Coast Guard, different boats, he was on a buoy tender, hard job, he’s all messed up now from it.
One of the best ideas for a tv show. Thank you for showing these jobs through the years.
Come to Ukraine bro and do an Assault with me😂😂😂
my dream is to be an opal miner in Australia how DARE he speak badly on my aspirations!!
I heard is a massive A-hole. I understand the show was called dirty jobs but you got paid and no one tricked you into it.
If you want life long friends dont be a logger. Everyone ive worked with the last 20 years is gone. Fisherman lose men because they do loads of drugs for the long hrs.
Worked as a crab fisherman years ago. No desire to ever be on the open ocean again
i feel like for the opal mining they could drop some camera with a light that they could rotate like a security camera. May be a bit safer lol
Cropdusting.
Hanging iron is pretty fun, I've been a JIW for 10 years
Yeah, I couldnt go down in that hole. All is be thinking about is the whole things just caving in on me burying me alive.
Coal mining 😮😢 take a tour in Eastern Canada
We LOVE Mike Rowe and are happy supporters of Mike Rowe works
How about Russian soldier
I love this so much 😂 my husband is an opal miner in the town that he came and shot that episode. He’s out mining every day!
Commercial fisherman in the bearing sea for over a decade. It’s even worst now with all people being less and less competent and more and more lazy
If anyone knows what the most dangerous jobs are its Mike mutha fuckin Rowe! As a 44 year old life long dirty job tradesman, i loved the show! He truly did a great job representing us to the rest of the country by letting people know that society couldn't function without people like us doing the shit other people dont want to even know exists😂
man he's getting up there in age 😕
Worldwide or US only?
Death toll at Myanmar scam centre
unworthy scammers got disected organ farmed.
is far more deadly than North Korea Collieries.
Boilermakers
Iron workers
Lineman
Coalminers
The part they dont talk about is the illnesses that come later in life from these types of jobs.
they are ranked by number of incidents per 100,000 workers, and you'd be surprised what the most dangerous jobs really are… a lot of these jobs that you think are super dangerous, are actually relatively safe because of how seriously they take the safety the more scary things get. It's the non-scary things that you don't think about that kill you on the job.
Crab fishing is not a job that's a hobby,
I use to clean fuel tanks an shit tanks an grey water tanks on most of our military ships at one point an time , the smaller the boat the tighter things got, one of the worst parts was getting under the engines an cleaning from the front of that tight chamber to the back , very low oxygen, your in a Gumby suit , with hot pressure washer line an a hose that sucks the oil an water up ,an a flash light , you better do it right the first time , cuz they send an inspector in afterwards to check your work , it’s so hot down their cuz of those engines, at that point those engines have been off for 14 hrs to 24 hrs, , an that about how long they want them shut off as I’m coming out , their in their running through check list , I really enjoyed doing that kinda of work , one of the chemicals factories I was sent to , I brought traces of it home not knowing , I went through decontamination, somehow their were particles on my boats still , I came home that night within 48 hrs we were all very sick , went to hospital they said it was a comin cold two months later my wife lost our second child , went could never prove that was the cause, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure things out , the stuff they had me cleaning was very very very dangerous you had to be completely suited up with each end of your arms was taped to your clove and same with the boots , you wore oxygen tanks on your back , you would work for 6 hrs an then go through decontamination then would have someone cut you out of suit , go back through decontamination, then you were off for 24 hrs come back do it all over again , I made very good money, after the miscarriage within 1 year I left , their was a process to leaving , I couldn’t just quit, it took about a year , my family comes first , an I could not have that happen again, six months after the miscarriage my wife got pregnant with our son, he is very healthy an very smart , he does have autism an I often wonder if he got that from the stuff I was working around, his autism isn’t as bad as most , but he does have it , I have many sleepless days cuz I think about what I worked around back then , I miss the guys I worked with , it was a brotherhood, we had one another’s back for sure , J,B, unit , miss those guys , real brothers
Aussies are the best miners, you can literally buy a claim and 9-12 k in a single hit and hit it 10-12 times over you hit nothing, the deadly part? Deep holes remote location and no will find whats left of you, ever
I mean doing repairs outside the space Station is the craziest to me one wrong move you "slowly" fade into nothing and you wait until you sufacate and freeze to float for eternity in the eternal darkness
Mike made my teenage years AWESOME! thanks Mike!
Feminist answer: "Receptionist. That's why we need equal pay!" 😂😂😂
Basically no women in these, what about gender equality come on 😂
It's my job… Logging and tree industry, kills more men than any other job, it's dangerous… Been doing it 22 years, love it. Damn near been killed 50 times. 😂
We all know statistically it’s being the President of the United States
Logging is worst 😊
He's not even qualified to do one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet he couldn't take you on a trip to the most dangerous job on the planet cuz He's not qualified and cameras wouldn't work down there saturation diving and welding
I would love to see this show make a comeback, but it would never be the same without Mike.
His ability to recall the experience in such detail tells me he REALLY never wants to do that shit again😂
soldier is a dangerous job…but statistically it's not the MOST dangerous job.
When I was a child, 30 years ago, there was a lady in my church who lost her son when he was swept overboard deep sea fishing. Those men don’t get paid enough and crab should be even more expensive.
Hey womans you have work over there.
Telling my wife dinners gonna be late definitely up there
What about saturation diving?
