Aw, man… that was such a great TV show (along with Fernwood 2 Night), and she was great in it.

And Norman Lear was very proud of that show. I went to a talk he gave, and I was the last one to get to ask a question. I was the first one to mention Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. He just beamed, and then went on about how he had to create an ad hoc network of UHF stations to broadcast it, because the networks wouldn’t touch it.
It was my mother’s favorite show.

Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman is one of the greatest shows of all time. It had so much influence on what came after it. Louise Lasser was absolutely fantastic as the titular role. Time for another run-through of the series.
May her floors never have waxy yellow buildup.

Are the comments on this thread genuine? Is everyone a bot? Who is lamenting this show and its actors from 50yrs ago… on Reddit? Shouldn’t you guys be glued to Fox News or something? What is going on here?
Is Reddit really the target audience for this article?? This means nothing to anyone under the age of 50 right?
