Jermaine Dupri Sues Sony Music for $18 Million Over Unpaid Royalties

Aside from all the current bullshit, Sony is the company that knowingly and purposefully infected their customers’ computers with a rootkit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_BMG_copy_protection_rootkit_scandal)

And the official response from Sony BMG’s President after being caught was, word for word: “Most people, I think, don’t even know what a rootkit is, so why should they care about it?”

So, stealing money from artists would not be a surprising thing for Sony to do.
