Alicia Silverstone completely owned the mid 90s pop culture scene. Between her Aerosmith music video trilogy ("Cryin'", "Amazing", "Crazy") and Clueless, 1993 to 1995 was arguably one of the most dominant runs any teen icon has ever had. Did you first discover her from the Aerosmith video trilogy on MTV, or were you introduced to her through Clueless in the summer of '95, or even sooner in The Crush 1993.

She looks pretty. However, I don’t get the era of young women’s wearing bloomers that would otherwise be on infants.

I looked this up recently when this topic was posted here last month because I like revisiting 90s pop culture. It’s an interesting artifact of its time.
The cover is really well composed. Unfortunately, the rest of the photos in the spread tilt way more into Lolita territory. They perhaps were trying to play with or subvert the trope, but it misses the mark for me, and is not helped by the way the article is written. It opens with “Alicia Silverstone is a kittenish 18-year-old movie star whom lots of men want to sleep with.” and continues with thoughts like “She has the brand-new look of a still-wet painting – touch her and she’ll smudge”
Still, Alicia comes across as very likable, normal, and self-assured in the piece, despite the author having to remind the reader constantly that Alicia is very young and men want to have sex with her.

I was DESPERATE to look just like her as a tween and young teen. I thought she was just the most beautiful person. Reader, I did NOT look like her.
